Oxford Photographic uses the latest in Giclée printing technology to deliver prints that rival the quality of traditional silver based printing. Giclee is a term that encompasses a host of printing hardware and software used in the production of fine art or photographic prints. Through the use of archival quality papers and pigment based inks, these prints have an unglazed display life that can exceed 100 years.

Our technicians use Gretag Macbeth colour management hardware and software to ensure that the full colour range and tonal depth of your images is reproduced accurately and smoothly. Giclee prints are considered of such high quality that the Magnum photo agency produce them from their archives and many international leading galleries display Giclee prints alongside more traditional prints.

We carry a wide range of papers and canvas suited to colour or monochrome photographic images.These prices are for prints straight from the file, no proofs or editing will be carried out. If you are uncertain of how the final image will look then proofing must be requested. Proofing is subject to a set up charge of £20 EXC VAT. The lighting set up we use for proofing complies with and exceeds the ISO 3664:2000, ensuring that proofing takes place within a properly lit environment of the correct colour spectrum. To ensure colour consistency, our colour managed workflow is set to the same D50 specifications.
